Skin photographs and medical records
Photographs taken during an assessment are clinical records. They are kept in the hospital’s record system, used for comparison at follow-up and for planning treatment, and protected under its confidentiality rules and the applicable regulations on medical records and personal information. They are not published or used for teaching or promotion without a separate consent that you may refuse, and refusing it does not affect the care you receive.
